Are counselors responsible for schedule changes?

Collins Hill  counselors are not responsible for changing student schedules. We do assist in the process by recommending, based on credit checks and graduation requirements, what classes need to be taken (exclusively  for 4th year students). These recommendations are then passed along to the assistant principal over curriculum and instruction for final approval.

Can I see my child's counselor without an appointment?

We can not guarantee that we would be able to accomodate your visit due to other scheduled activities etc. that may be occurring. We strongly recommend that you schedule an appointment by contacting your child's counselor via phone or email. Please also  keep in mind that next day appointments may not be available.
