2010-2011 Tutoring Opportunities at CHHS
If a student is having problems doing well in a class, encourage him/her FIRST to talk to his/her teacher before or after school or class (not during class) to receive additional help from the teacher. The teacher will probably be able to give tips on what the student could do to improve his/her grade.
If the student needs additional help, the following FREE opportunities are available at CHHS:
Advisement Tutoring: have the student ask his/her teacher to sign him/her up for advisement tutoring twice weekly. Advisement tutoring is every day but Tuesday.
CHHS Tutoring Center: Students can be tutored in any subject in the media center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:20-3:20. They don’t have to make an appointment prior to going to the tutoring center,
Mu Alpha Theta Math Tutoring: Students can get tutoring in math on Tuesday mornings from 6:45-7:05 in room 3.122. See Mrs. Cloud for more information.
